THE PORTERS ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED
I made it to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro on October 26th. This was one of the most memorable and important events of my life. I will never forget that day.
When I tell people about my journey to Africa, I say I could never have climbed that mountain without the support of Thomson Safaris. The whole team was phenomenal from the head guide Godlove to every porter that carried anything. But one of the people I appreciate the most , and will never forget was my personal porter Costa. He was attentive to so many details to ensure my health and safety during the trek. Even little things like making sure I was drinking enough water and not loosing anything and my boots were secured properly.
I'm sure that I would not have made it to the summit without his help. The porters are wonderful people who should be recognized for the amazing service they provide. Again, I would like to express my appreciation for Costa and the other Thomson Safaris porters.
